Peter Stoddart

Deputy Head of Secondary
 

Peter is a experienced, dedicated and approachable educational leader with a passion for creating inclusive, student-focused learning communities. Over the past decade, he has held senior roles including Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Principal, Academic Lead, BTEC Coordinator, and Centre Quality Nominee (QN).

 

With a Master’s in Education, BA (Hons), PGCE, and accreditation as an External Standards Verifier, Peter brings both expertise and experience to his work. Furthemore, he is especially committed to strengthening MTW’s pastoral care, wellbeing provision, and reward systems, believing that strong relationships and shared values are the foundation of school life.

 

As a passionate advocate for vocational learning, Peter is also dedicated to creating inclusive pathways and building strong industry partnerships. His focus is on giving students real-world, hands-on experiences that inspire confidence and prepare them for success beyond school.

 

Outside of work, Peter enjoys family time and all that Dubai and the UAE have to offer. He is also actively involved in a number ofinclusion initiatives across the region seeking to ensure the best for future generations. He looks forward to working with the MTW community to embed the “Be a GEM” values, helping every student to shine brightly.
