Victoria Walton

Victoria Walton, originally from Oxford, England, brings over 12 years of experience in the education sector and joins GEMS Metropole – Al Waha as Head of Key Stage 1. She graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BA (Hons) in Primary Education.

She has taught and held leadership roles in international schools across Dubai and the Bahamas, with a particular focus on Early Years and Key Stage 1. Victoria is passionate about staff development and works collaboratively to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences for young children.

With a strong background in Special Educational Needs, she also played a key role in establishing a therapeutic school for children with diverse learning needs. This experience deepened her commitment to inclusive education and strengthened her ability to adapt teaching approaches to support every learner.

Victoria has a keen interest in curriculum design and enjoys making learning creative, meaningful, and fun. Beyond school, she loves playing padel and netball, and treasures time spent with her family.
