Victoria Walton

Victoria Walton, originally from Oxford, England, brings over 12 years of experience in the education sector and will be joining the GEMS Metropole - Al Waha team as Head of Key Stage 1. She studied at Oxford Brookes University, where she earned a BA Honours Degree in Primary Education.

Victoria has held teaching and leadership roles in international schools across Dubai and the Bahamas, with a strong focus on Early Years and Key Stage 1. She is passionate about staff development and enjoys working collaboratively to create engaging, high-quality learning experiences for young children.

With a background in Special Educational Needs, Victoria also played a key role in establishing a therapeutic school for children with diverse learning needs. This experience has strengthened her dedication to inclusive education and her ability to adapt teaching approaches to support every learner. She has a keen interest in curriculum design and loves making learning creative, meaningful, and fun. Outside of school, Victoria enjoys playing padel and netball, and cherishes spending time with her family.
