Trixie Wright

Trixie Wright is delighted to be joining MTW this August. Originally from England, Trixie's career journey began in a very different field, completing a Law degree with Honours before moving to South Korea. It was there, while teaching primary-aged children, that she discovered her true passion for education and decided to pursue teaching as a lifelong career.

After returning to the UK to complete her PGCE, Trixie spent several years teaching in England before relocating to Dubai in 2022. Over her thirteen years in education, she has developed extensive experience in curriculum development, coaching and developing teachers, and supporting high-quality teaching and learning across diverse school communities. Having recently completed her National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL), Trixie remains committed to continuous professional growth and educational excellence.

Trixie is passionate about creating inclusive environments where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. She believes that kindness sits at the heart of great schools and that children thrive when they feel safe to take risks, embrace challenges, and learn from mistakes. Her approach combines high expectations with strong relationships,
ensuring every child has the confidence to reach their full potential. Outside of school, Trixie enjoys travelling, experiencing new cultures, horse riding, and spending time with friends. She is also partial to a TRX session at the gym whenever motivation strikes! Her favourite role outside of education, however, is being an auntie to her young nephew.
