Lauren Fagan

Lauren Fagan is a passionate and experienced educator entering her fourth year of teaching in the UAE and her third year at GEMS Metropole Al Waha. Following two successful years as Head of Year 6, Lauren continues her journey in Year 6 as a class teacher while taking on the additional role of Upper Key Stage 2 Pastoral Lead.

Originally from Scotland, Lauren holds an undergraduate degree in History and Spanish, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. Her teaching experience spans Scotland, Spain, and holistic learning environments in the United States, providing her with a broad perspective on education and a deep appreciation for inclusive teaching practices.

Lauren is committed to creating a nurturing and inspiring learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to achieve their full potential. She believes that every student possesses unique strengths and is passionate about removing barriers to learning while fostering confidence, resilience, and academic excellence.

Outside of school, Lauren enjoys travelling, exploring different cultures, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is proud to be part of the GEMS Metropole Al Waha community and looks forward to continuing to work alongside colleagues, students, and families to inspire lifelong learning and success.
