Deputy Head of Inclusion
Bethan is the Deputy Head of Inclusion at GEMS Metropole School – Al Waha, bringing extensive experience in supporting students with a diverse range of learning needs across both the UK and the UAE. She is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every child is empowered to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
With a strong background in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Bethan has worked extensively within alternative pathway settings, delivering personalised learning programmes, supporting ASDAN pathways, and implementing inclusive teaching practices tailored to individual strengths and needs. Her experience leading inclusion initiatives has earned recognition for her compassionate approach and unwavering commitment to improving outcomes for students with additional needs.
As Deputy Head of Inclusion, Bethan works collaboratively with students, families, and colleagues to ensure every learner receives the support, encouragement, and opportunities they need to thrive. She is dedicated to fostering a culture where inclusion, wellbeing, and high expectations are at the heart of every student's educational journey.
Outside of school, Bethan enjoys continuing her professional learning, exploring new places, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her commitment to lifelong learning and student success continues to make a meaningful impact across the GEMS Metropole community.
