Peter Stoddart is an experienced, dedicated, and approachable educational leader with a passion for creating inclusive, student-centred learning communities where every student is empowered to thrive. Throughout his career, he has held a range of senior leadership roles, including Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Principal, Academic Lead, BTEC Coordinator, and Centre Quality Nominee (QN).

Holding a Master’s in Education, a BA (Hons), a PGCE, and accreditation as an External Standards Verifier, Peter brings a wealth of expertise and leadership experience. He is committed to fostering a culture of high expectations, strong pastoral care, student wellbeing, and meaningful recognition, believing that positive relationships and shared values are at the heart of every successful school.

A passionate advocate for vocational and career-focused education, Peter is dedicated to developing inclusive learning pathways and building strong partnerships with industry. He believes in providing students with authentic, real-world experiences that build confidence, develop essential life skills, and prepare them for future success.

Outside of school, Peter enjoys spending time with his family and making the most of everything Dubai and the UAE have to offer. He is also actively involved in inclusion initiatives across the region, championing opportunities that support every learner. As Head of Secondary, Peter looks forward to working closely with students, families, and staff to continue strengthening the MTW community and embedding the school's "Be a GEM" values, ensuring every student has the opportunity to flourish and shine.
