Head of Year 10

Isobelle Daler-Finch is the Head of Year 10 at GEMS Metropole School – Al Waha, bringing a wealth of experience in both pastoral leadership and secondary education. Originally from Bournemouth, Isobelle has seven years of experience teaching Drama in London secondary schools, alongside five years serving as a Head of Year, where she developed a strong commitment to supporting students both academically and personally.

Passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments, Isobelle believes every student should feel valued, challenged, and inspired to achieve their full potential. She is dedicated to developing confident, resilient, and ambitious young people, helping them build the skills and mindset needed to thrive throughout their GCSE journey and beyond.

As Head of Year 10, Isobelle works closely with students, families, and colleagues to ensure every learner receives the guidance and encouragement they need during this important stage of their education. Her focus on strong relationships, high expectations, and student wellbeing helps create a positive culture where every individual can flourish.

Outside of school, Isobelle enjoys spending time with family and friends and coaching competitive cheerleading. As a former athlete who competed at the World Championships, she understands the value of dedication, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities she strives to instil in every student she supports.
